Rules

1) When in the shell, try to maintain as much IC status as possible. Quest, mission, camp, equipment, nearly -everything- XI related can be stated in character.

2) No chat speak. This should go without saying. Chat speak is permitted if it's an OOC joke, but in character...No. Just no.

3) OOC- Give common courtesy to all members. IC- You -are- allowed to be snarky and pick fights with other characters, if you have good reason. Remember that whatever you say will impact the story between your character and others.

4) **Keep IC and OOC relations SEPERATE!!** Remember! Nobody would watch TV, movies, play video games if there were no drama! We enjoy character drama in the shell! But be aware that what a character says does not always reflect the PLAYER's feelings! If you should have a spat ooc, do not bring it in character.

5) There is no current limit on ooc chatter, nor is there a limit on rating. But...if people are participating IC, please be curteous and...look at rule 1.

6) No sex in the champag-- err, linkshell. That one's pretty obvious, but we want this set out right. We do make perverted comments and the like, but don't mistake that for thinking those sort of actions can take place in the shell.




So how would I join?

We'd prefer you be 18 or over. Not for age discrimination, but for the fact that we say things which others of a younger group might not want to see, or things that would cause a parent to be displeased.

Since we'd like to make sure everyone is a good fit, we have an application process. First, register on the forums, then send a private message to Tsienna with the information below filled out.

Name/Character Name: (The slash is provided in case your character name to be different from your user name. Such as, Quetzacoatl's character name is Fenrey Varn.)
Age: (This is your real age, since character age is a little bit irritating to actually plot out)
Current Nation/Rank: (For use that will be discribed below)
Brief character information: (Tell us why your character is interesting. You don't have to make it long. Let us know about the temperment and anything that makes them special.)


Once your application is received, the council will review it and accept or deny upon majority rule. You will be sent a notice with the results. After that the shell will do one or two events with you, one usually risking much death or failure to see how you can handle bad situations and how well your behavior meshes with the group. One of the events that we may do could possibly be a mission for your nation, or a set of them. This is why we ask your nation and rank. ^^
